Come Enjoy Pizza and Support the Firebirds
The Fairway Restaurant and Pizzeria, located at 4295 Route 6 in North Eastham, will host a fundraiser for the Orleans Firebirds Baseball Club on Wednesday, June 10th, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the team’s fundraising efforts for their Field Improvement project at their home field, Eldredge Park in Orleans. Earlier this spring, the Yawkey Foundation awarded the team a $150,000 grant towards the improvements, and matching funds must be raised. (More)

Firebirds to Receive 2009 Yawkey Grant
The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox and the newly renamed Orleans Firebirds are the latest recipients of grants from the Yawkey Foundation to Cape Cod Baseball League franchises earmarked for field improvements. (More)
